Section 7 began with a belief that high school teams deserved something extraordinary in the summer.

Matt King, Todd Delano, Carolyn Delano, Todd Fazio, Mark Wood, Etop Udo-Ema, Ray Arvisu Jr., and Matt Gordon helped turn that belief into a stage for school programs and the student athletes who represent them.

Their shared work brought together basketball relationships, event vision, and a commitment to access. What began as an ambitious undertaking became Section 7: a place where competition and college opportunity meet.
